Norway House Cultural Center

The Norway House project is a cultural home envisioned as a place for Norwegian-Americans in Minnesota. The original building, which totaled nearly 15,000 SF has grown into a forward-thinking nonprofit that serves as a contemporary venue for all aspects of Nordic business and life in America. They are dedicated to establishing, renewing, and advancing connections between contemporary Norway and the United States through education and partnerships.

The organization recently receiving additional community and partner support, necessitating building an additional 17,000 SF of space on the lower, main and upper levels of the building. The expansion project nearly doubled the facility’s footprint, bringing on much-needed conference and event center space for dedicated weddings, corporate and private events. With reoccurring events including Gingerbread Wonderland, Peace Initiative, Classes and education, arts and performances year-round the organization brings together immigrants from many backgrounds.
