The Guthrie Theater, located in Minneapolis is one of the most renowned regional theaters in the United States. New construction of a 285,000 SF performing arts space includes:
- Three separate theaters
- Education spaces
- Administrative offices
- Production shop
- Multilevel 1,000-car parking ramp
The new Guthrie Theater replicates the original theater’s signature thrust stage (1,150 seats), and also includes a proscenium stage (700 seats) for more contemporary work and a flexible space (250 seats) for new work and actor/artist development. Additionally, the theater included several scopes dedicated to restaurant and hospitality space.
