Driven by community input, the 64,000-square-foot Moorhead Community Center & Library is designed to become a vibrant hub for connection, learning and year-round activity in the heart of downtown Moorhead. Located at the key intersection of 5th Street and Center Avenue, the multi-level facility brings a variety of community amenities together under one roof.
The first floor features the library, flexible gathering areas and an inspiration space designed to support creativity and collaboration. The second floor focuses on movement and play, featuring an indoor playground and active spaces for year-round use. A walking loop and all-season playground provide additional recreation opportunities for community members of all ages.
Designed with sustainability principles incorporated throughout, the Community Center & Library will serve both downtown Moorhead and the broader community while creating a new focal point for the city’s downtown environment.
