McGough partnered with Inver Hills Community College to renovate its Technology and Business Building in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, transforming an aging academic facility into a modern, flexible environment for business, information technology and engineering programs.
The 31,800 SF renovation included a full interior modernization, roof replacement, exterior waterproofing upgrades, new high-performance windows, updated instructional technology, and a connecting link to adjacent Heritage Hall. The project also introduced new daylighting through roof light monitors, helping create a brighter and more welcoming learning environment for students and faculty.
Designed to support evolving academic and workforce needs, the renovated building brings technology-rich classrooms, IT Careers Labs, advanced networking classrooms, a data center lab, and a STEM Engineering Lab together under one roof. Hy-Flex classrooms and active learning spaces provide flexibility for in-person, virtual, and hands-on instruction, giving the college adaptable spaces that can continue to evolve with its programs.
