This brand-new City Hall and Municipal Liquor Store, located at one of downtown’s most visible intersections replaced the outdated infrastructure with a bright, welcoming space. The lobby is spacious and light-filled with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Council chambers has advanced AV and visual connection to the lobby. Collaborative administrative spaces for city workers. The Municipal Liquor Store has its own entrance and includes an open sales floor.
The City of Grand Marais stands as one of the oldest colonies in Minnesota and was in need of a new, refreshed facility to serve the municipality. The new facility, spanning more than 3.5 acres, includes a brand-new repair shop, parts storage, and expanded vehicle storage. Administrative offices round out the facility with a dedicated training room and staff locker room. In keeping with the City’s values, they also incorporated energy-efficient systems and utilized renewable energy options where available.
