
McGough is thrilled to announce the promotion of Garrett Tvinnereim to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Since joining McGough in 2019 as Controller, Garrett has been an instrumental leader in driving strategic financial initiatives that position McGough for sustainable growth.
In his new role as CFO, Garrett will continue to oversee McGough’s financial planning and accounting teams, while spearheading initiatives to enhance our financial operations and strengthen relationships with key external partners, including banks, surety providers, and investment firms. His strategic mindset and focus on collaboration will play a vital role in positioning McGough for future opportunities.
Garrett brings more than 25 years of experience in accounting and financial management, including nearly a decade at a Big Four auditing firm and leadership roles in the manufacturing sector. Since joining McGough, Garrett has been instrumental in driving the financial strategies behind the company’s exponential growth, helping to elevate McGough to its position as a Top ENR General Contractor. He played a pivotal role in implementing a new enterprise accounting system, streamlining processes to support expansion into new markets, navigating evolving regulations, and managing diverse contractual requirements. His leadership has been key in building a solid financial foundation that supports McGough’s continued growth and industry success.
An alumnus of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Garrett is also a dedicated board member of St. David’s Center, a cause McGough proudly supports. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to both the financial health of McGough, its customers, and the wellbeing of the communities we serve.
