McGough Mourns the Loss of Dear Friend, Colleague – Paul Biason

It is with shock and sadness that we are letting you know of the unexpected passing of our colleague and friend Paul Biason. Paul passed away suddenly on June 21st after spending a wonderful evening with his family.

Paul, who spent just under 24 years with McGough, was an integral part of our Healthcare sector team, serving as Project Executive on many of our projects with University of Minnesota, Children’s, Gillette Specialty and Healtheast. His impact on our team, the company and our clients is truly immeasurable. He was meticulous and thorough, known for his tremendous integrity and was one of the foundational individuals that made this company what it is today. Prior to McGough, Paul worked at Bossardt Corporation as a Project Manager and HGA Architects and Engineers in Construction Administration.

Long-time friend and colleague, Paul Biason

Paul is survived by Team Biason; his wife Krista McDonald Biason, his daughter Emilia, son Paul, Emilia’s fiancée (the bonus child) Alaina Dabson, and his cat Flotilla. He is also survived by his mother Sandy Kunick, his sister Michelle Moore and her family, Marta McDonald, Kevin McDonald’s family, and Kyle McDonald’s family, in addition to countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by a solid group of friends who supported and loved him as a brother.

Paul’s absence will be felt by all of us at McGough for some time as we honor his memory and cherish the times we spent together along the way.

In the meantime, please keep Krista, their daughter Emilia, son Paul and their family and friends in your prayers.

Information regarding Paul’s celebration of life can be found below as well as an extended obituary. If you attend – the family would like to encourage people stopping by to wear bright colors, golf shirts, or even a tie-dye shirt instead of traditional formal black attire.
