General Mills, James Ford Bell Research Center Wing 5 Analytical Laboratory

For more than 150 years, GM has made food with a passion for pets, people and everything in between. To do that, they’ve relied heavily on trusted partners like us who can help them reach their research, science and food production goals.

In 2014, we were entrusted with delivering a state-of-the-art research lab facility at General Mills headquarters in Golden Valley, MN, allowing them to consolidate its Pillsbury food group into the James Ford Bell Research Center.

The project, covering more than 42,000 SF, required dedicated phasing to allow for 24/7 use and operation of the surrounding facilities.

Once completed, the two-story building included analytical laboratory facilities with flexible laboratory casework to allow for reconfiguration as research needs.

Other Features:

  • Office space
  • Material handling area
  • Dedicated storage
  • Test kitchen
