The Ellis County Sub-Courthouse Precinct #2 is a new 20,000 SF county government facility in Waxahachie, Texas, designed to support a range of judicial, administrative, and public services in one centralized location.
The building houses the Precinct #2 Justice of the Peace courtroom, county clerks, constables, and State of Texas AgLife Extension offices, along with a multi-purpose room used for local elections, training, and community needs. The interior layout includes a public lobby, meeting rooms, clerk service windows, and offices designed to support daily operations while maintaining safety, accessibility, and efficiency.
Site improvements included grading, parking, stormwater treatment, and landscaping to support long-term functionality of the facility. The project also incorporates new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, along with integrated security, IT, and audiovisual infrastructure to support courtroom operations and public use. The Ellis County Sub-Courthouse will provide a durable, functional space that supports essential county services and the surrounding community.
