Data Center Building
Project Description
Expansion and upgrading of an existing data center building. The design-build project included the addition of roughly 17,000 SF of infrastructure space to the existing data center. The infrastructure upgrades provided a Tier II+ backbone to support nominal 60 watts per SF information technology load distributed across the two separate raised floors, totaling roughly 67,000 SF. The expansion was completed within a live business-critical data center. Except for planned executed power-downs for equipment tie-ins and load transfers, the data center remained completely operational during construction.
