David Kegler

Director, Quality Control

David joined McGough in 2006 and currently oversees McGough’s quality control group which ensures the constructability and code adherence for all projects within McGough. During his tenure, David has held multiple positions across the company starting off as an apprentice carpenter and then moving on to doing work in construction layout and foremanship before he eventually joined the quality control group in 2015. David holds a Master’s in Education degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Business Management from Gustavus Adolphus College. Along with his role at McGough, David also serves as Commercial Building Industry representative for the Construction Codes Advisory Council (CCAC). He was a previous member of the Technical Advisory Group for the state of Minnesota to help shape future building code provisions. He is currently Captain of McGough Hearts and Hammers team, a nonprofit organization that provides home rehabilitation services to senior citizens, disabled individuals, and veterans or their surviving spouses.
