The new 320,000-square-foot Xcel Energy Service Center will provide a larger, modern space for crews serving the east metro area. The facility will support both gas and electrical operations, with room for 350 vehicles, including 23 electric vehicle charging stations.
Built to support Xcel Energy’s clean energy goals, the project will include solar panels, geothermal heating and cooling, and other energy-efficient features. The facility is expected to use about 50% less energy than a typical building of its kind.
