McGough is proud to help bring Minnesota Military Family Day to Viking Lakes this summer. In partnership with the Australia New Zealand American Association and several community organizations, this event supports military-connected families throughout Minnesota.
The free, family-friendly event takes place Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at TCO Stadium at Viking Lakes. Minnesota Military Family Day welcomes, celebrates, and thanks military-connected families across the state for their service, dedication, and sacrifice.
Throughout the afternoon, guests will enjoy outdoor games and activities for all ages, including opportunities to try sports from around the world such as rugby, cricket, football, and more. The event is a chance for families to spend time together, connect with others, and enjoy a summer afternoon of community and appreciation.
The first 300 guests to arrive will receive a complimentary picnic-style lunch. The concession stand will offer additional food for purchase. Attendees can also participate in giveaways during the event, including a grand prize drawing for an autographed Minnesota Wild jersey.
Minnesota Military Family Day is made possible through the joint efforts of McGough and the ANZAA Foundation, with support from the Minnesota National Guard Child & Youth Program, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, the Minnesota Navy League Council, and other community partners.
Viking Lakes will offer free parking in designated on-site lots.
