The linear accelerator is a 3000 SF addition to the Rice Memorial Hospital on the north side of the 1972 tower, adjacent to the cancer center on the first level. The new linear accelerator and ancillary spaces connect to the cancer center via an internal corridor. A shell space on the lower level was also created as a part of the new construction.
