This project, wrapped up in November 2016, involved a substantial 65,000 SF tenant improvement initiative that unfolded in two distinct phases. In the first phase, there was a substantial overhaul of existing units, notably the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), alongside the creation of additional 30,000 SF of space designated for triage, labor and delivery, operating rooms, and post-operative areas.
This phase also saw the development of a fresh entrance and a welcoming family waiting area. In the second phase, the focus shifted to crafting new spaces designed for postpartum families and mothers on bed rest (antepartum). Furthermore, the project placed a strong emphasis on enhancing the facilities to better serve providers and staff, thereby creating a comprehensive and improved healthcare environment.
