As Vice President of McGough’s South Central Region, Roman Buckner leads strategic initiatives and oversees operations across the region, with a continued focus on advancing McGough’s presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and beyond. Since joining McGough in 2018, Roman has been a driving force behind the company’s expansion in Texas, playing a key role in securing and delivering its first projects in Dallas and establishing a strong foundation for long-term growth.
Roman brings extensive experience in the construction industry, with a background that includes healthcare, high-rise, K–12, and higher education projects. He originally joined McGough as a Project Executive and quickly earned recognition for his strengths in project management, budget development, scheduling, team leadership, transition planning, and owner representation. His well-rounded expertise and solutions-oriented mindset are vital to McGough’s continued success in the South Central market. He is passionate about solving complex challenges in the built environment and believes in building “smart” to meet the needs of today while preserving opportunities for tomorrow. Roman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
