Construction of the 68,000 SF Mayo SSB Data Center adjacent to the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. This project comprised more than 400 work stations; a data center floor; future expansion space; and a mechanical mezzanine. This building required McGough to tie into the hospital’s central plant that feeds the new building’s chilled water approximately 400 feet away. Redundancy was built into the building’s mechanical and electrical systems that run the data center.
