Construction Begins on Transformational, High-End Multifamily Unit in Budding Bloomington South Loop District
Project adds more than 400-high end units and South Loops first retail grocery and spirits space
Bloomington, MN (July 21, 2022) – McGough Development is pleased to announce the beginning of construction on Carbon31 a 403-unit, high-end multifamily development at Bloomington Central Station (BCS), the latest project within McGough’s multi-phase 50-acre master planned development area. Carbon31 – located at 8100 31st Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55425 – will include local grocery retailer Oxendale’s Market on the first floor of the building. The project is an exciting development for BCS as McGough executed more than $415 million in project value at the site, transforming the South Loop district landscape in the process.

Carbon31 includes top of the line amenities including: the first grocery store within the Bloomington South Loop district, grand courtyard entry drop-off, pool patio with grill stations, sauna, maker space and lounge spaces; top floor skylounge with viewing deck; and fitness room; community/party room; work-from-home café lobby space, parking garage with tenant stalls on the floor of their unit.
