Takeda, Fluid Cooler Replacement

Project Description

The Brooklyn Park site has three fluid coolers that supply a propylene glycol and water mixture to the condensers of the three 900-ton chilled water generators (chillers).  The chillers supply chilled water to HVAC and process equipment.  Scope included Demo of (3) existing fluid coolers and associated cooler piping and controls, Furnish & Install three (3) new 900-ton Closed Circuit Counterflow Fluid Coolers and Control Panels including new polypropylene random plant make-up water piping, carbon steel supply and return piping, install one new 2-ton Air Source Heat Pump Split System to serve the new controls building.
