Johnny Meeker

How many years of experience do you have in this industry and with McGough?
I have worked in the Real Estate Development industry for about 4 years. My whole real estate professional career has been with McGough. While with McGough I have gotten to work on many interesting projects in Multifamily, Hospitality and Office. 

What led you to your current role at McGough?
Ever since I took my first real estate finance class back in college at the University of Denver I knew I wanted to get into the Real Estate Development world. 

What do you like most about your job? 
I love the variety that we are exposed to on a daily basis. I never really know what is going to happen when I start my day, which at times can be hard but I love the constant challenge variability.

What do you enjoy most about the construction industry?
I love that I get to see the physical change of our work. When we develop a project I get to see the whole project evolution, whether that is a rehabilitation of an existing building or building a new building on a empty piece of land. 

Why do you enjoy working for McGough?
What I like most about McGough is the value and respect that is given to everyone on the team. We are a team and it is made known that every team member makes the team stronger. 

What do you like to do in your free-time?
In my free time I do as much downhill skiing as I can partially going out to either Colorado or Utah. I also love spending as much time as I can with my family including, cabin weekends, traveling and the soon to come family ski trips.
