Allina Health, Mercy Hospital Helipad

Project Description

This projec tis a new rooftop heliport that is located above the fourth floor of the Mercy Hospital West Tower at Allina Health in Coon Rapids, MN. This project involved an extension of the existing elevators to serve the new helipad level elevator lobby and entry vestibule. It also included tying into the existing structural system of the building to install columns to support the new helipad and addition to the existing stair and elevator penthouse. Mechanical and electrical systems to service the new addition and helipad were required to tie into the existing systems.
