Our People

Teresa Lynch

Director of First Impressions

How long have you been in the construction industry?
I have been a receptionist, not necessarily construction, for over 31 years. I am currently in my 18th year at McGough Construction.

How did you end up in construction?
The law firm I was working with prior to joining McGough closed after 140 years in the business. I needed a job and answer an ad. The one line I found interesting in the ad was the line “willing to make coffee”. To this day, I still have not made a pot of coffee at McGough.

What do you enjoy most about the construction industry?
With the logistics of where I office, at the reception area, I have become aware of many aspects of the construction industry. Immersed into an industry I knew little about, I was fascinated and have become appreciative of the many variables involved from the conceptions of a project, to its completion.

What do you like most about McGough?
The vast array of personnel; so diverse in skill set, personality and history. I enjoy their amazing stories. The family-owned business is a draw with the opportunity to work and really know the family members.

What do you like to do on your free-time?
I like to plan events, collect art from my travels, volunteer, spend time with my family and have happy hour with my “peeps”.
