How many years of experience do you have in this industry and with McGough?
I have been in the Carpenter’s union for 22 years and with McGough for 9.5 years.
What led you to your current role at McGough?
I have been fortunate to work my way up through the “ranks” to get where I am now currently as an Assistant Superintendent. I started McGough as a carpenter, moved to a layout carpenter, then to a carpenter foreman and to my current role.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the responsibilities that come along with being a Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent to oversee the entire project from start to finish.
What do you enjoy most about the construction industry?
I enjoy that there are many different people that you meet and work with throughout the life of a job.It’s challenging to create a great work environment with so many different personalities on site.
Why do you enjoy working for McGough?
I enjoy working for McGough because it is a family first environment, and the “McGough culture” is not just a saying. We live that culture each day on site and it makes it enjoyable to come to work.
What do you like to do in your free-time?
I love spending time with my family, watching and coaching my kids sports, boating and fishing during the summer at our lake trailer.
