Building for the Next Generation
We continue to see record growth and client interest in McGough’s industrial expertise. As partner interest continues to grow, McGough is dedicated in helping national clients reach their goals and so we’re excited to add executive Dan Schuette as Director of Project Development – Industrial.
McGough Grows Lean Thought Leadership with Virginia Cosgriff's Rare Shingo Examiner Designation
The very first time Chris interviewed at McGough, he knew it was different. “I remember interviewing with Dave McLaughlin initially and we began talking about my time in the service. I was explaining some of the challenges with being enlisted and handling training while working full time and he just stopped me and said, “That’s ok, we’ll work around it.” That’s when I knew – working at McGough was just different.”
A rare occasion it is that a 75-year membership plaque is presented to a member of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1 Minnesota/North Dakota. In fact, Leo McGough, 94, is one of only two members to reach this remarkable milestone in 2014.
In November 2013, The Ordway published a great Q&A article, highlighting the work of one of McGough’s very own – Concrete Superintendent Mike Johnson. Mike has been an incredible asset to the McGough team and has had the privilege to work on this cultural icon twice.
Oh, the many hidden talents that our team members have under the hood! On Saturday, August 2nd, 2014, McGough hosted its 6th annual Hot Wheels Car Show and Picnic. Over 300 people attended the car show to view the submissions, participate in games, and take advantage of the great food and prizes. 56 cars and numerous motorcycles were entered into the competition by McGough employees, retirees, friends, and subcontractor partners. Thanks to everyone who participated in the show, and we hope to see you and your rides next year!
It’s always fun when our remarkable people are highlighted and recognized in the news. In October 2013, The Pioneer Press published a great article in conjunction with The Ordway highlighting the return of two of McGough’s remarkable people, Concrete Superintendent Mike Johnson and Quality Assurance Specialist Mike Kemp, for The Ordway Center’s new concert hall project.
