McGough, an ENR Top 400 builder and developer, announced today the establishment of its new South Central office in Dallas, Texas. The company’s Dallas office will now serve as the primary base for its operations in the southern United States, while its seven offices throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and Iowa will continue to anchor its northern U.S. operations.
Founded in St. Paul in the 1950s, McGough made a name for itself in its early days as a pioneer in the development of collaborative delivery methods and the execution of complex projects. For more than six decades, the family-owned company has continued to build on that legacy, amassing an extensive portfolio of experience, including many highly innovative and complex healthcare, corporate office, higher education, performing arts, hospitality, research/laboratory, and industrial projects around the country.
The company was recently selected as developer and builder of the $110 million resort hotel and conference center at Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, which is slated to break ground in the fall of 2018.

The establishment of McGoughs Dallas office continues the companys recent geographic growth trajectory. Since 2013, the company has opened offices in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines, Iowa; Fargo, North Dakota; and Duluth, Minnesota, growing its annual revenue by more than 60 percent.

Nate Wood, a 20-year company veteran and experienced emerging business unit leader, will serve as Vice President and General Manager, Dallas office. Wood and his colleagues are in the process of building out the companys Dallas-based team. McGoughs Dallas office, located at 4851 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, will formally celebrate its opening with an open house later this spring.
