McGough COVID-19 Response Plan

We all continue to be impacted by unprecedented threat of COVID-19. Now more than ever, we are committed to the well-being of our employees, partners and communities and are doing what we can to flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented an Incident Command Team that is meeting daily to closely monitor the situation and quickly implement all necessary changes to practices and protocols in accordance with the CDC and State Departments of Health. Here are some of the steps we have taken and what we are asking of our partners on every jobsite to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

  • All employees who are not essential in offices or on job sites are required to work from home.
  • Multiple communication strategies are used daily to keep all employees and partners fully aware of changing expectations.
  • We are enforcing all applicable CDC and State Health Department guidelines, including physical distancing whenever possible. Specific protocols include but are not limited to:
    • Everyone entering a job site must complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire every day before entering the site.
    • Only essential personnel are allowed on job sites.
    • Employees and partners are required to immediately report any COVID-19 symptoms.
    • All employees are recommended to wear a face covering at all times.
    • We have increased cleaning in our offices and jobsites as well as increased access to washing stations and cleaning supplies.
    • All workers are instructed to avoid close contact. When not performing job functions which require less spacing, workers should stay 6 feet away from each other. Configure break areas and times to allow for social distancing.
    • Community items such as water coolers, microwaves, and coffee pots have been eliminated.
    • All non-essential travel and in-person meetings have been suspended.
    • Elevators should contain no more than 4 people, to maximize physical distance between riders.

The McGough legacy was built on safety. We will continue to do our part by diligently following these guidelines set in place to ensure the well-being of our employees, clients, partners and communities. We want to thank everyone involved for their cooperation and understanding as we work together through these uncertain times.

Safety First

At McGough, we take great pride in our track record of excellence in safety management. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our people, partners and the communities for which we build.
