McGough Hires Scott North to Lead its National Healthcare Group
ST. PAUL, MN March 9, 2016 McGough is pleased to announce that Scott North has joined the company as Executive Vice President of its National Healthcare Group. In this role, North will provide dedicated executive leadership for the expansion of McGoughs National Healthcare Group, which has completed significant ground-up, expansion and renovation projects for numerous health systems, hospitals and provider groups throughout the Midwest and Southwest over the past six decades.
North joins McGough with over 37 years of healthcare experience. Prior to joining McGough, he held multiple leadership positions within the Twin Cities-based HealthEast Care System. Most recently, as President of Acute Care, he provided strategic and operational leadership for all of the systems acute care facilities, including the St. Johns Hospital, St. Josephs Hospital and Woodwinds Hospital. North played a major role in the HealthEast Care Systems Lean transformation and brings to his position with McGough a deep understanding of Lean practices and their applications in the healthcare industry. Earlier in his career, North also worked for two healthcare systems in Ohio, giving him a diverse perspective on the business.

North holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Ashland University, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration from Bowling Green State University. North is professionally certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
