DULUTH, Minn. – McGough Construction is pleased to announce that it is continuing to expand its Midwestern presence with the launch of a new regional office in Duluth, Minnesota.
McGough was founded in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1956 and has expanded its reach throughout the Midwest and as far as Phoenix, Arizona in recent decades. A regional leader in commercial and industrial construction, McGough is an early pioneer of collaborative delivery methods and has a strong portfolio of project experience in many of the Midwest’s most innovative healthcare, corporate office, higher education, performing arts, data center and industrial projects.
McGough’s portfolio of work in Duluth, Minnesota includes the new maurices headquarters located at 425 West Superior Street. This new facility is approximately 200,000-square feet, standing 11-stories high and is the largest commercial office tower in Duluth, Minnesota. Nearby, McGough is also working with the University of Minnesota – Duluth on the Chemical Sciences and Materials (CAMS) facility, a 56,000-square foot facility which will meet the research and learning needs of students in chemistry, biochemistry, material science and engineering. Additionally, McGough is working with The College of St. Scholastica on the Health Science Center, which will total 45,000-square feet and will include a clinic, multiple classrooms and laboratories.

Jim Frisell, a 41-year McGough veteran and Northern Minnesota Regional Manager will be leading the growth of the Duluth office.
McGough will celebrate the launch of its Duluth office with a ribbon cutting ceremony and public open house on May 12, 2016.
