The Minnesota Correctional Facility – Oak Park Heights is a level six, maximum-security institution that has eight self-contained complexes which can operate independently. Six are designed to house 52 inmates each. The remaining two complexes contain the mental health and transitional health care units that serve adult male inmates department wide.
