The total project consisted of 10,000-square feet, with the facility having three primary components including; aquatic holding facilities, biological lab/research facilities and office/administration facilities. A 5,000-square foot winter storage facility was also included in the program. The goal of this project was to create a modern research environment to maximize Minnesota’s ability to respond to current and future threats to Minnesota’s lakes.
