This sustainable project was a remodel of an existing grocery store into the corporate offices of KFI, a mechanical/electrical engineering firm. This project was the first office building in Minnesota to achieve LEED certification. It was also the first LEED-EB Gold Certified (Existing Buildings) building in the state. The building features a geothermal well system for heating and cooling. The remodeling was specifically planned to use renewable and environmentally-friendly resources.
