McGough Receives Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society

We were so very honored to receive the 20th Colman J. Barry Award for Distinguished Contributions to Religion and Society! This accolade from St. John’s University is given annually to those who demonstrate that service to others comprises the best in human achievement.

McGough Construction has had a major role in the physical development of the St. John’s University campus — most notably, for our work on the St. John’s Abbey and the University Church. Currently, McGough Construction is renovating the Alcuin Library, as well as constructing the Dietrich Reinhart Learning Commons.

St. John’s University, you were among the early organizations to give our little company a big chance.  We can’t thank you enough for that!  It’s blessings like those that have inspired our desire to “pay it forward”!
