Tuesday, April 20, 2015 marked the groundbreaking of the new Spam Museum, located in Austin, MN. Numerous dignitaries, community members, and Hormel Foods team members attended the event. RSP Architects and McGough Construction and many other project partners also joined in for the celebration of this new 14,000 square-foot facility which will celebrate one of Minnesota’s most famous, and favorite, foods. The museum plans to have a soft opening in Spring 2016 and an official opening in Summer 2016.
