Karin McCabe receives Top Honor from the Minnesota Subcontractor’s Association
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — February 24, 2014 –
Karin McCabe, Diversity Outreach Coordinator at McGough Construction, has been named Construction Professional of the Year by the Minnesota Subcontractors Association (MSA). McCabe was honored, together with three other award recipients throughout the state, at the Association’s 14th Annual T.O.P.S Awards dinner on January 28, 2014, which recognized construction professionals that have demonstrated superior professionalism in their relations with the subcontractor and diversity communities.
A graduate of St. Catherine University with over 14 years’ experience in the construction industry, including departmental management, recruitment, and community outreach roles, McCabe has made a significant imprint on McGough’s diversity programming. Most recently, she led an effort that resulted in McGough becoming one of a select group of companies to achieve the Yellow Ribbon Company designation from the Minnesota Department of Military Affairs.
